Kaltura’s video platform is a modular system of several different web services that can be deployed in many different deployment modes. They offer it in both managed and unmanaged solutions and have has dozens of technology partners that help to provide services like hosting, transcoding, distribution and delivery. Some of their partners include Akamai, FreeWheel, Encoding.com, Wowza, Roku, and WordPress.
Since being founded in 2006 the company has raised over $115 million in equity funding.
