Brightcove has several product groups built into their media streaming solution:
VideoCloud is the bread and butter of the Brightcove product offering. It does everything from ingest & transcoding to content management to distribution to player styling, all in the cloud and with industry leading video analytics. This product is the video platform of choice for huge brands like Viacom, Showtime, Aljazeera, and Samsung.
Zencoder is Brightcove’s cloud-based encoding service that offers extremely fast transcoding with unlimited scale and support for nearly any input file or output device. It includes adaptive bitrate delivery, opimtized HLS packaging, and AES encryption. They claim the product is up to 10x faster than other cloud transcoding offerings.
Brightcove Once is their server-side ad insertion product. It allows publishers to ingest content and deliver it with seamless ad breaks via a single URL. It supports pre, mid, and post-roll ads as well and also claims to circumvent ad blockers, which is becoming an increasing problem for large media publishers.
Gallery is a powerful monetization platform that lets publishers generate video portals that are SEO friendly and optimized for social sharing and user retention. It also allows the publisher to create custom calls-to-action at the page level to help convert viewers in leads.
