IRVINE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–CrowdStrike® Inc., the leader in cloud-delivered next-generation endpoint protection, today announced the launch of its operations in Latin America to expand regional sales, marketing, and partner and business development support. The company is rapidly growing its customer base across the region, attracting new customers in sectors such as retail, telecommunications and manufacturing.
“Neosecure selected CrowdStrike as our go-to market partner to strengthen our next-generation endpoint security offering and provide customers with a cybersecurity platform that enables visibility and protection where traditional solutions are failing, allowing us to raise the security standard for our customers”
The opening of CrowdStrike’s new office in Mexico City will accelerate its go-to-market strategy in the region and expand opportunities for new business development and partnerships. This strategic expansion comes on the heels of the company’s global growth of 2,665 percent over the past three years and an impressive customer portfolio of Fortune 1000 companies, government agencies, and small and medium-sized (SMB) organizations.
CrowdStrike has also appointed Carlos Gonzalez as managing director for Latin America. Prior to joining CrowdStrike, Mr. Gonzalez held various leadership roles within McAfee’s Mexico and Latin America sales organizations and was instrumental in building out the company’s customer portfolio in the region.
CrowdStrike has reinvented endpoint security with its cloud-native endpoint protection platform. CrowdStrike Falcon® provides a complete end-to-end solution that unifies next-generation antivirus (AV) with endpoint detection and response (EDR) and managed hunting — all via a single lightweight agent.
“Our expansion into the Latin American region comes at a time when the CrowdStrike Falcon platform is setting a new standard for endpoint protection around the globe. Having brick-and-mortar presence in the region will allow us to capitalize on a massive market opportunity. Our technology enables public and private sector enterprises to replace their legacy antivirus with modern, cloud-based, and effective endpoint protection that can defend against both malware and malware-free attacks,” said George Kurtz, CrowdStrike’s co-founder and chief executive officer.
CrowdStrike recently announced new product modules to enable flexible and efficient procurement of the Falcon platform for organizations of all sizes and to further accelerate its sales engine.
“Neosecure selected CrowdStrike as our go-to market partner to strengthen our next-generation endpoint security offering and provide customers with a cybersecurity platform that enables visibility and protection where traditional solutions are failing, allowing us to raise the security standard for our customers,” said Fernando Fuentes, Innovation and Solutions manager at Neosecure.
In addition to opening a new office in Mexico City and appointing Carlos Gonzalez, CrowdStrike is also expanding its in-region sales, channel, and marketing teams. CrowdStrike will be exhibiting at Infosecurity Mexico at booth 420 from April 25 — April 27, 2017.
